Difficulty falling asleep? Welcome to Hotel Tesla, such a lovely bed!

You’re on a vacation, it’s your first day, you’re feeling awesome, everything turned out like you hoped, and then you go to bed and you can’t fall asleep. Well it’s a common phenomenon- something called the “First night effect.” It happens to a lot of people. Just because it’s a new environment with unfamiliar surroundings, it’s sometimes not easy to fall sleep.

Some other people just sleep poorly at baseline- they go to bed, they start ruminating, and they can’t fall asleep. The bed, the walls, everything around them reinforces their inability to fall asleep. Then they go to a new place, and they paradoxically sleep better, the so called “paradoxical” or “reverse” first night effect.

So now you have a chance to experience this reverse first night effect, and in style. Or just experience this magnificent car for a whole night.

Steve Sasman of Phoenix, Arizona is charging $85 to spend a night in his $118,000 Tesla Model S. The luxury car is outfitted with a twin airbed, linens, and even has two remote-controlled candles, if that’s your thing.

And the owner is rather generous: “"Since the Tesla uses NO gas the Tesla's A/C or Heat can run all night without any problem locked securely in my attached garage. You can set the mood with your selection of any Internet music you would like on the huge 17" monitor."

If you love cars, and like to sleep, this might be the deal for you.
